In this context, Lisa Balichgar, Deputy Director of the Tashkeel Foundation, said that the 2021 session of the “Made in Tashkeel” exhibition is of “extreme importance”, after the exhibition was not held last summer due to the pandemic conditions.

She expressed her happiness that the exhibition presented a group of innovative creative works that were "implemented with artistic skill and high intelligence," noting that "the event celebrates the breadth and depth of contemporary creative practice among artists and designers residing in the UAE."

She added, "The exhibition highlights the need to provide artists and designers with access to specialized equipment, appropriate spaces and the desired support, which Tashkeel performs throughout the year in its two locations."
