The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi concluded the activities of the virtual initiative “Culture Thursday for All” for this year, which included an interesting set of completely new educational and interactive events, dedicated to school students in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which met with great demand and impressive success, with the participation and attendance of more than 100,000 Male and female students from all over the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The "Culture Thursday for All" activities were launched on the Abu Dhabi Culture website in April 2021, where a series of video clips were presented that provide many innovative educational opportunities, in an effort to activate the interaction of students and young people with history, national heritage, culture and the arts. The initiative also included the presentation of several clips of the series "The History of the Emirates", produced by Image Nation Abu Dhabi, which presents the foundations of the civilization and emergence of the Emirates.

The “Culture Thursday for All” provided weekly dialogue sessions with the participation of students, with the aim of encouraging them to discover more about Emirati culture and heritage, enhancing their communicative, analytical and dialogue skills, and giving them the opportunity to participate in interactive discussions on a variety of topics, including social values ​​and practices recognized in Emirati society. , life on the island of Marawah, the exhibition of abstraction and calligraphy currently held in the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the professions of ancestors, such as pearl diving, poetry, and other topics related to local culture, arts and society.

This series was launched after the great demand that attracted the "Culture for All" platform, which was launched by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi virtually last year, and the "Culture Thursdays for All" sessions will return online every Thursday, starting in September.

The initiative has received wide response, as its content has been watched by more than 800,000 viewers from around the world, through its electronic platforms since its launch in 2020.
