On June 27th, a dock was built in Jiulongpo District of Chongqing City, and the 166 Ship Exhibition, which was converted from the Navy’s retired Zhuhai Ship (166 Ship), was officially opened to the public.

It is reported that the Navy's 166 ship is a Type 051 second-generation guided missile destroyer developed by China itself. Construction began in 1987 and joined the Chinese Navy's battle sequence in 1991.

In August 2020, the ship was officially decommissioned.

After being retired, it was donated to the Chongqing Jianchuan Museum and transformed into a 166 ship display exhibition, which was used as a patriotism education base to carry out national defense education exhibitions.

On the 26th, the 166 ship was towed by a tug boat from the Mingyuetuo Wharf in Nan'an District, Chongqing, and it took 8 hours to successfully reach the construction wharf in Jiulongpo District.

So far, the 166 ship has completed all the voyages of the Yangtze River Channel and officially entered the port of Chongqing.

The picture shows that on June 26, the 166 ship is about to dock at the construction terminal.
