  In May 2020, the Ministry of Education issued the "Implementation Plan on Accelerating the Transfer of Independent Colleges", requiring the comprehensive promotion of the transfer of independent colleges. Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology immediately started the transfer of schools.

  The relevant person in charge of Yinchuan Institute of Science and Technology stated that Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology has possessed strong comprehensive strength for more than ten years since it was running school. It has reached the setting standards of "Interim Provisions for the Establishment of General Undergraduate Schools" and the requirements of the Ministry of Education in terms of school conditions and talent training quality. The conditions for transfer, this time passed the acceptance of transfer by the Ministry of Education, and successfully transferred to Yinchuan Institute of Science and Technology, indicating that the school has a strong ability to run a school and a high level of running a school.
