Gnamien Kli the good god had three children: Kpin the eldest, Sèssè l a cade tt e, and Kanhan the youngest.

These three girls lived in perfect harmony.

They ate their three meals a day, which their father sent them through his emissary.

When it was time to eat, the three girls would sing together, and when their melodious voices reached their father, he would send them something to eat.

And everyone was enjoying themselves, and everyone was happy.

The three girls always reserved a portion of the hearty meal for their mutual friend, Idjirwa the ant.

One day, in the absence of Kpin and Sèssè, Idjirwa the ant approached Kanhan the youngest and said these words to him:

"You, Kanhan, do you know that it is your shrill voice that touches the heart of Gnamienkpli your father?

I assure you that without you, your ensemble would not be so melodious. "

These flattering words made the youngest child feel proud.

She had thus come to realize the importance she had in the choir which allowed them to obtain their three daily meals.

Another day, Idjirwa the ant went to Sèssè the younger and said to him:

“You know, in football, number 10 is the playmaker. most often win the golden ball.

In the Gnamienkpli children's choir, if you have to assign the number 10 to someone, I give it to you without thinking about you, the medium voice.

"

- Sèssè: Really?

At these words, Sèssè no longer felt joy, she was proud to know that the beauty of the choir depended on her, solely on her.

The next day, Idjirwa the ant went to find Kpin, the eldest, and said to her:

"You, the low voice that assures and reassures, you are fully in your role of elder, the other voices can rely on you, without you they would get lost in the air and you would already have starved to death.

"

- "Ah

Idjirwa, you flatter me!"

 "

Kpin replied.

She had just realized the capital importance of the bass in the choir.

From then on, each of Gnamienkpli's three daughters was convinced that they were indispensable to the trio. It gave them wings. At mealtimes, each did her little number, intoxicated with pride and caprice. Now, each was dragging its feet and was being desired when it came time to meet. Sometimes it was under the false mediation of the ant that the choir managed to come together. Tired of the whims of her younger sisters, Kpin decided to retire to sing alone. Sèsse and Kanhan did the same, each going their own way. But during the three days during which they sang solo, the daughters of the good god met only their father's indifference. As a result, no food reached them for three days.

On the evening of the third day, starving, they finally decided to talk to each other.

They realized that their discord came from the gossip of Idjirwa the ant.

To get to the bottom of it, they decided to unite their voices again.

After the three usual verses, here is Gnamienkpli's emissary presenting himself with his arms laden with food.

Juicy and tasty fruits and vegetables, large portions of banana foutou, placali, accompanied by seed sauce, gouagouassou sauce, peanut sauce, large platters of baked fish, pitted chickens, accompanied by fries of yam, potato fries, plantin fries, and so on, and so on.

Everyone was happy

The girls then resolved to get rid of the ant.

This rejection had the consequence of plunging the ant into hunger, to the point of being almost cut in two.

Since then, she has been forced to work as a team with her peers to ensure her survival.

Men and women, on the other hand, have lost all confidence in the ant, which is why as soon as they feel its presence on its body, they immediately get rid of it.

My tale is over.
