A red architectural model exhibition was exhibited at Changsha University of Science and Technology. There are 35 models in total. It was reproduced by 142 teachers and students of the school's School of Architecture in a month and a half using digital modeling, 3D printing and other technologies.

The teachers and students selected revolutionary sites and red buildings in Hunan Province. After field investigation, surveying and mapping collected data, the digital models were drawn by computers, and then laser engraving machines were used to restore each fragment of the model, and finally stitched together by hand.

The teachers and students of the school also designed a brief QR code for each building model, so that visitors can scan the code to understand the red story behind the building.
