According to Chen Bin, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, after a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia was found in Liwan District of Guangzhou on May 21, as of 14:00 on the 27th, a total of 4 confirmed cases and 5 asymptomatic infections were reported in Guangzhou. All of them are related to the confirmed case of Guo on the 21st, and they are all spread by infection in relatively closed places such as co-living, co-dining, co-custody, etc., and belong to the same infection chain.
As of 14:00 on the 27th, Guangzhou has screened a total of 487 close contacts and brought 482 people under the control of Guangzhou.
A total of 1,703 people who have been closely connected have been screened, and 1,687 people have been under the control of Guangzhou City.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Guangzhou has fully implemented the investigation and control of key populations in key places, and quickly carried out nucleic acid tests for all employees in key places in Liwan District and other districts.
Starting from the evening of the 26th, the investigation of all employees in key areas has been conducted. 361421 people have been sampled, of which 55,963 results are negative, and the remaining results are yet to be reported.
Since the outbreak, as of 14:00 on the 27th, a total of 546,000 nucleic acid tests have been conducted in Guangzhou, of which 240,900 nucleic acid results were all negative, and the remaining results are yet to be reported.
Guangzhou strictly performed environmental monitoring and final elimination. A total of 443 environmental specimens including patients were collected, of which 437 were negative and 6 were positive. Two final eliminations were carried out on key places.
Chen Bin said that Guangzhou comprehensively strengthened the prevention and control of social epidemics, including strengthening the prevention and control of hospital infection in medical institutions, strengthening the prevention and control of community epidemics, accelerating the promotion of large-scale vaccination, and organizing special supervision and law enforcement inspections for pre-inspection and triage of medical institutions.
As of 12:00 on May 27th, Guangzhou has opened 428 vaccination sites and about 2000 standard vaccination units, forming a full coverage vaccination grid with point-surface integration and fixed-mobile complementation; the city has received 8.67 million people and 1148 vaccines. Ten thousand doses, the target population vaccination rate is 64%, of which 2.99 million people have completed the entire vaccination.
