In response to the tight spread of new corona infections, Osaka Prefecture last week added 1100 new beds for mild and moderate patients to medical institutions in the prefecture based on the revised Infectious Diseases Control Law. I requested to secure a floor.



Governor Yoshimura told reporters on the 26th, "80% of the 180 hospitals responded, and it was expected that we could secure about 420 new beds."



On that basis, Governor Yoshimura said, "I would like to work on individual hospitals to see if we can increase the number of beds," and expressed his intention to seek cooperation from medical institutions to further secure them.



In addition, Governor Yoshimura said that in order to secure a bed, it is necessary to promptly discharge patients who have recovered from their symptoms and meet the discharge criteria. It was announced that the operation of the support system, which grants 400,000 to 200,000 yen as a cooperation fund depending on the condition, started on the 26th.
