The European Medicines Agency (EMA) on Friday authorized the storage of the Pfizer / BioNTech alliance's Covid-19 vaccine at freezer temperatures, higher than those so far authorized, which will facilitate its distribution.

The EMA said in a statement to have "issued a positive opinion to allow the transport and storage of the vials of this vaccine at temperatures between -25 and -15 ° C (that is to say the temperature of freezers standard pharmaceuticals) for a single period of two weeks ”.
