Ban on travel to the EU and freezing of assets held in the EU zone against four Chinese officials.

On Monday March 22, Brussels imposed sanctions on China unprecedented since 1989, due to human rights abuses against the million Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities locked up in camps.

In response, China took sanctions against a dozen European parliamentarians and academics.
