Following the decision to lift the state of emergency to the three Kansai prefectures, Osaka Prefecture will hold a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters on the night of the 26th to prevent the re-spread of infection after the cancellation from the 1st to the 21st of next month. For three weeks, we have decided to request restaurants in Osaka City to open until 9 pm and to serve alcoholic beverages until 8:30 pm.

Regarding the declaration of emergency, Prime Minister Suga has announced that it will be lifted on the 28th of the end of this month in six prefectures, including the three prefectures of Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, out of the 10 prefectures in the target area.

In response to this, Osaka Prefecture opened the countermeasures headquarters on the night of the 26th, and Governor Yoshimura said, "The state of emergency will be lifted, but the important thing is not to rebound from here."

And, in order to prevent the spread of the infection again after the release, the request to shorten the business hours sent to restaurants in the prefecture is limited to the stores in Osaka city where the downtown area is concentrated, and on the 1st of next month. We have decided to request again that the business hours will be 9 pm and the liquor will be served until 8:30 pm for 3 weeks from the 21st to the 21st.

In addition, we will request stores in areas other than Osaka City to thoroughly comply with industry-specific guidelines while canceling the time saving request by the end of this month.

In addition, we will continue to ask the citizens of the prefecture to refrain from going out unnecessarily and urgently, limit the number of drinking parties and banquets to four or less, and make sure to wear masks when talking during meals and welcome and farewell. We also decided to call for refraining from viewing cherry blossoms with parties, thank-you parties, and banquets.
