Since the release of

Framing Britney Spears

, the documentary devoted, among other things, to the singer's fight to get rid of the tutelage imposed on her by her father since 2008, many celebrities have expressed their dismay but also, and above all, their support.

This is particularly the case of Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler who tweeted the hashtag #FreeBritney.

For her part, Courtney Love posted a banner on Twitter which read: “We're sorry, Britney”.

Same story for Paramore singer Hayley Williams.

“No artist should endure such torture inflicted by a totally misogynistic society and media.

The debate and awareness about mental health would not be there if it had not paid this horrendous price, ”she wrote on the same network.

“I just watched the documentary

Framing Britney Spears

and I have to say something VERY weird, very serious is going on.

#FreeBritney, ”Shirley Manson wrote on her group's Twitter account, Garbage.

Finally, let's quote the deceptively playful tweet from host Andy Cohen: “Good Morning!

Have a nice day !

And: #FreeBritney ”.

A wave of support and consternation which, perhaps, will end up tipping the judges' decision in favor of the singer so that she recovers her independence as much professional as personal.
