The departments of Landes, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Gers were placed on Saturday in orange vigilance "floods" until Sunday 4 pm, indicates Météo-France.
Floods are underway in the south-west of the country, in particular on the Adour in the Dax sector (Landes), the bulletin said.
According to the Codis des Landes, the flood is "very slow", the weather forecast is "quite favorable" and the fire services do not carry out more interventions than usual.
About forty small roads or towpaths have been cut along the Adour and Gave rivers.
