Bavaria's Landtag President Ilse Aigner (CSU) has ruffed two ministers from the cabinet of Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) as well as three MPs because of corona violations in the Landtag restaurant.

The state parliament confirmed a corresponding report in the "Bild" newspaper.

Affected are Science Minister Bernd Sibler, Building Minister Kerstin Schreyer and MPs Petra Loibl, Harald Kühn and Andreas Jäckel (all CSU).

They would have met at a table in the restaurant, although this means a violation of the requirements for protection against the corona virus.

Penalty proceedings have been initiated against those affected.

But they would first be heard and were asked to comment, according to a statement from the state parliament.

The state restaurant is currently closed, in the Maximilianeum only a "food-to-go canteen" is operated.

Only those who do not have their own office are allowed to sit at tables - but only a maximum of two people per table.

The President of the State Parliament, Aigner, was enraged: "We expect a lot from all citizens in the corona crisis and demand discipline and consideration.

I have absolutely no understanding for the behavior of my colleagues. "
