Particularly affected by the coronavirus, several thousand elderly people died during the first wave of the pandemic, especially in retirement homes.

But, even if the current situation in these establishments is certainly worrying with more than 11,000 deaths already, it is not as brutal as last spring.

Nursing home staff were able to learn from the first wave and improve the care of seniors.
