The number of people killed on the roads of metropolitan France in October is 22.6% lower than in October 2019, according to road safety figures published on Wednesday.

In total, 199 people died in October, a month marked by the return of confinement in France, or 58 less than in October 2019. Among them, 108 motorists, 32 users of motorized two-wheelers, 7 cyclists and 38 pedestrians.
