Regarding Tohoku Electric Power Onagawa Nuclear Power Station Unit 2, Governor Murai of Miyagi Prefecture has expressed local consent, which is a prerequisite for restarting operations.
This is the first time that local consent has been given for restarting a nuclear power plant in the area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
