Egypt ... Upcoming announcement of the largest archaeological discovery

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirmed that it is about to announce the largest archaeological discovery in the country within the next few days, as it will be announced in a press conference to be held in the Saqqara antiquities area.

The Egyptian archaeological mission working in the Saqqara antiquities area had begun to complete the excavation, as it resulted in the discovery of new wells in which a large number of colored and closed human coffins have been buried more than 2,500 years ago, more than the number of coffins that were found and announced last October.

In addition, a number of golden archaeological finds were found, including wooden statues and colored and gilded masks.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian archaeological mission had announced, during the past years, a number of important archaeological discoveries in the Saqqara region, the last of which were 59 colored coffins with mummies in good condition of senior statesmen and priests from the 26th family.
