"Iqbal" requires treatment for 16 thousand dirhams

"Iqbal" (42-year-old Pakistani) is unable to provide for 16 thousand and 48 dirhams, the cost of his treatment for three months of a bacterial disease in the eye socket that weakened his eyesight, and he appeals to someone who helps him find the amount, given his limited income.

The patient narrated his suffering to Emirates Today, saying: “I suffer from health problems in the eye, which caused blurring of vision, and I previously entered Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, where I conducted tests and analyzes that showed that I had a bacterial disease in the eye socket, and the doctor developed a treatment plan. For three months its cost is 16 thousand and 48 dirhams, and the health insurance did not cover the cost of medicines, because the amount specified on the card was exhausted.

He added, "My financial capabilities are very limited. I support my family in Pakistan. I work in the country as a farmer. I earn 1,300 dirhams a month, and I do not know what to do under the circumstances I command."

He continued: “The pain in my eyes deprived me of sleep, in addition to my vision diminishing, and I live on painkillers, and the treating doctor asked me to speed up taking the medicines so that the health condition of my eyes does not worsen.

patient works as a farmer with a monthly salary of 1300 dirhams and supports his family in Pakistan.
