(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) 6 new confirmed cases in Hong Kong 11 days apart for the first time without unknown source cases

  China News Service, Hong Kong, October 10 (Reporter Han Xingtong) The Health Protection Center of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced on the 10th that there were 6 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Hong Kong, with a total of 5,175 confirmed cases.

There were no local cases of unknown origin that day. This was the first time there were no local cases of unknown origin in Hong Kong 11 days later.

  The Center for Health Protection of the Department of Health announced that as of 0:00 on the 10th, the center is investigating 6 newly confirmed cases. So far, the total number of cases in Hong Kong is 5176, including 5175 confirmed cases and one suspected case.

  Among the new cases, 3 were imported cases, and the confirmed cases were outside the country during the incubation period.

The other three were local cases, which were related to the previously confirmed cases. There were no local cases of unknown origin that day. Therefore, the Health Protection Center did not hold an epidemic briefing.

  Currently, the Center for Health Protection is continuing to follow up the epidemiological investigation of confirmed cases and contact tracing.

  On the same day, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority stated that as of 9 am, a total of 7 confirmed patients had been discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours. Together with one patient discharged on the 8th, a total of 4,914 confirmed or suspected patients have recovered and discharged.

A total of 123 confirmed patients are in 18 public hospitals. Among them, 8 are in critical condition, 8 are in serious condition, and the remaining 107 are in stable condition.
