University entrance examination "Comprehensive selection" Application starts from 15th Request for consideration for examinees September 15th 5:34

The application for "Comprehensive Selection", which will be the start of the university entrance examination to be held this year, will start on the 15th.

Since the effects of the new coronavirus are spreading this year, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is requesting each university to give consideration to examinees.

Due to the university entrance examination reform, the conventional "AO entrance examination" will be changed to "comprehensive selection" from this year, and in addition to interviews, essays, club activities and student organization activities, academic ability tests will be imposed, making it more multifaceted. Evaluation will be required.

The application, which was originally scheduled for the 1st of this month, will be postponed for 2 weeks and will start on the 15th due to the prolonged closure of school due to the influence of the new coronavirus.

This year, the club activity competitions and qualification / certification exams to be evaluated were canceled one after another, so the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology will allow students to describe not only the results but also the process and efforts for each university. We are requesting consideration such as making it possible to apply for the application based on the achievements up to the second year of high school.

In addition, as the number of universities that make interviews online is increasing, we are seeking to secure examination opportunities so that specific examinees will not be disadvantaged due to differences in communication environment or technical problems.

The results of the "Comprehensive Selection" will be announced after November.
