  On September 7, tap water construction was underway in Yongfeng Village, Changfu Town, Nenjiang City. Construction workers found 16 artillery shells 30 cm long and 8 cm in diameter.

Relevant persons in charge and police of Changfu Town arrived at the scene as soon as possible, set up guards, and evacuated the villagers.

  On September 10, the Sijiazi Border Police Station of the Heihe Border Management Detachment received an alarm, stating that the villagers had found multiple artillery shells left by the Japanese army in Dawusili Village while fishing, and some of the artillery shells were intact.

The police rushed to and sealed off the scene, clearing out a total of 16 shells of various sizes.
