Iwate Prefecture announced that one male employee in his 40s working in Oshu City was confirmed to have been infected with the new coronavirus.
Infection was confirmed in 23 people in the prefecture.
Men are said to be in the same workplace as the three men who were confirmed infected on the 1st of this month.
