The Advisory Board of the Digital Museum of Emirati Plastic Art, affiliated to the Fujairah Social and Cultural Society, reviewed the plastic renaissance currently taking place in the Emirates, and the infrastructure in the country, which derives its reference from a deep vision aimed at human development, through an integrated renaissance strategy that considers arts one of its most prominent manifestations.

This came during the first meeting of the Council for the year 2020, through visual communication technology. The association’s president, Khaled Al-Dhanhani, said, “The meeting emphasized the importance of the digital museum, as it is the nucleus of a pioneering art museum on the ground, reviewing a number of issues related to defining the mechanisms of action, the strategic plan and future programs of the museum, in order to enhance its position in the country, and contribute to the advancement of plastic art. Emirates ».

The council includes among its members the Emirati artists: Dr. Najat Makki, Obaid Sorour, Izzat Al Qubaisi, Khalil Abdul Wahid, Mubarak Mahboob and Maryam Al Balushi. The museum seeks to document the plastic movement in the UAE, enhance awareness of visual culture, in addition to creating a new platform that enables Arab and international audiences to learn about Emirati plastic art, and to strengthen the country's position as a global artistic destination.
