Arab, American and Gulf stars in the first Emirati series on "Netflix" to be shown next month
Film Gate has completed the technical operations of the series “The Platform”, in which Emirati and Arab dramas enter the world of global platforms in a premiere next September.
The story of the work takes place in the context of the thrilling social drama that takes place in several countries of the Middle East, and embodies the information and media wars that affect the daily lives of human beings, in a bold and exciting way that was not previously presented in Arab drama.
It is planned that several parts and new seasons of the series will be filmed after the first season of it, according to unofficial reports on Netflix and Abu Dhabi TV.
The series brings together a combination of the stars of the Arab world, the Gulf and America, based on the stars: Maxim Khalil, Abdul Mohsen Al-Nimr, Mutasim Al-Nahar, Samer Ismail and the stars Salloum Haddad, Ahmed Al-Jasmi, Samar Sami, Khaled Al-Qish, and Lynn Ghara.
Also participating are: Yasser Al-Niyadi, Khaled Al-Sayed, Reham Al-Qassar, Saud Al-Kaabi, Yari Qassem, Shadi Al-Safadi, Jenny Asper, Alaa Al-Zoubi, Yousef Al-Kaabi, Jaber Joukhadar, Adham Murshid and Nazem Al-Zerli, and for the first time the Emirati broadcaster and presenter, Mahira Abdul Aziz, who Embarking on an acting adventure for the first time.
All scenes of the series were filmed in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and the series was written by writer Hosan Akko, directed by German Rodrigo Kischner, under the general and technical supervision of director and producer Mansour Al-Yebhouni Al Dhaheri, and produced by Jet movie in cooperation with Al Kalima Productions.
The work-producing agency has already started making initial preparations to complete the writing and filming of the second and third seasons of the work, which is planned to be presented in several parts after the presentation of its first season during the next month.
For his part, Hozan Akko, the author of the series, revealed that the work tells the story of two men, generosity and Nasser, who decided to provide the world with unspoken information, secrets and secrets and create a cloud in the virtual world to collect information and store secrets.
He explained that the organizers of the series have a great ambition to keep up with the productions of international drama despite the difficulties and challenges, because the audience is thirsty for a new style of work that deviates from the frameworks of Ramadan drama. He addresses his mind and conscience and leaves him in front of sensitive and exciting questions.
