On August 20, the Wenmingdong Tunnel in Haikou City, Hainan Province was officially opened to traffic. The tunnel is 4380 meters in length, of which the tunnel section is 2720 meters in length. It crosses the largest river in Hainan and connects the downtown area of Haikou and the Haikou Jiangdong New Area of Hainan Free Trade Port. It will effectively promote the interaction of Haikou city groups and promote the construction of free trade ports.
