On July 28, Sangri County, Shannan City, Tibet held the "Wangguo Festival" ceremony. Villagers dressed in festive costumes chanted ancient ballads to pray for a good harvest.

  The Tibetan word "wang" means "field", "fruit" means "turning a circle", and "Wangguo Festival" means singing and dancing around the fields to celebrate the harvest. "Wangguo Festival" has a history of more than 1,500 years and is a national intangible cultural heritage. It is popular in Tibet, Lhasa, Xigaze, Shannan and other places.
