  From July 18 to 21, heavy rain fell in Hefei City, Anhui Province. Lujiang County suffered a once-in-a-century flood. The water levels of many rivers exceeded historical peaks. The political instructor of the Lujiang County Fire Rescue Brigade led the group's commanders and fighters to 5 towns and towns to fight. In 96 hours, 2665 people were successfully transferred and rescued. On July 22, the Shidaxu dyke in Lujiang County burst, causing 4 villages and 5.8 square kilometers to be flooded. Chen Lu, the local guide, and Wang Song, the deputy secretary of the party branch of Lianhe Village, Tongda Town, Lujiang County, were washed away by the flood and lost contact. After 49 hours of full search and rescue, a body was found in the water about 2.3 kilometers downstream of the incident on the afternoon of the 24th. The DNA comparison of public security organs confirmed that Comrade Chen Lu had died heroically on the 26th.
