Xinhua News Agency, Taipei, July 27th (Reporters Wu Jihai and Fu Shuangqi) Taiwan’s "Marine Patrol Agency" announced on the 27th that the fleet branch of this department received a notification at 19:00 on July 26 that the mainland Chinese "Hongxiang" sand carrier Penghu Qimei capsized 48 nautical miles southwest. There were 9 crew members on board. One of them had been rescued and 8 were missing. The fleet branch sent a maritime patrol team to participate in search and rescue.

  As of 10:06 on the 27th, the remains of 4 victims were found, and 4 people are still missing.
