The opera Ålevangeliet is scheduled for spring 2022. Stina Oscarson stands for the libretto and Emmy Lindström composes the music.
"If God exists, the eel is probably the clue he left, I thought when I read Patrik Svensson's book and at the same time I knew I wanted to do something more with this material," says Stina Oscarson in a press release from Folkoperan in Stockholm.
The hope is to be able to tour with the performance in Sweden and the Nordic countries.
