Beijing well-established enterprises, such as Daoxiang Village, Wufangzhai, Donglaishun, etc., have launched dumplings with various flavors to meet consumers' diversified personalized needs. 22 non-legacy brands such as Tongrentang launched online promotional activities and started the "cloud shopping" mode. The sales of Daoxiang Village, Wu Yutai, Zhang Yiyuan, and Tongrentang, which are under key monitoring, reached 77.9% in the same period of the previous year, and the sales of Zongzi on the Jingdong platform increased by 61.8% year-on-year.
When summarizing the market supply situation in Beijing during the Dragon Boat Festival, Wang Hongcun said that first, the vegetable supply continued to increase. The average daily market volume of vegetables in the seven wholesale markets during the holiday season increased by 5.2% compared with the pre-holiday period. The Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce has set up a special working class for this purpose, specializing in coordinating and servicing the vegetable supply to Beijing. The two places have established a working mechanism for vegetable allocation to Beijing to ensure the allocation of the Ministry of Commerce. As of the 27th, nearly 2,000 tons of vegetables have been allocated. The Ministry of Commerce also instructed the China Agricultural Products Circulation Association to initiate the linkage mechanism in an emergency manner, through 14 large wholesale markets such as Henan Wanbang and Dili Group, to directly connect with Beijing buyers.
