Today (6th) at around 2 o'clock, a cargo ship "Ningtong 555" carrying 1151 tons of cement sailed down from Chongzuo, Guangxi, to Jiangmen, Guangdong, and sank in the waters of Niuxiwan, Guipingjiangkou, Xunjiang.
The reporter learned that at the time of the incident, a total of 5 people, 4 adults and 1 child were on board, of which 3 adults were rescued and 1 adult and 1 child were missing.
After receiving the alarm, the Guigang Marine Search and Rescue Center immediately dispatched law enforcement personnel to the scene for disposal. At present, the specific location of the sunken ship is being scanned and the missing person is being searched for. The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
