A family of 4 in Shaanxi fell into the Yellow River, and the scope of search and rescue expanded to neighboring cities

  Beijing News (apprentice reporter Ma Mingren) On May 2, a river crash occurred about 700 meters downstream of the Yellow River Bridge in Zanjiashan Village, Hukou Town, Yichuan County, Shaanxi Province, and four people were washed away. Today (May 4), a reporter from the Beijing News learned from the Propaganda Department of the Yichuan County Party Committee that search and rescue work is still in progress, and has notified the Korean city in the downstream area to cooperate with search and rescue.

  The Beijing News previously reported that Mr. Wang, the cousin of the man who fell into the water, said that the four people in Diaohe were a reorganized family, and each spouse had a child, about 17 or 18 years old. My sister-in-law is pregnant for five or six months. After the incident, the Yichuan police issued a tracing notice, asking the people along the river to help find those who fell into the water.

  Today (May 4), the staff of the Propaganda Department of the Yichuan County Party Committee told the Beijing News reporter that for the fall of the river, Yichuan County set up a special working group for personnel search and rescue, and the search scope is also further expanded. Townships, Hukou Town, Qiulin Town, and Jiyi Town are also assisting in search and rescue. At the same time, Yichuan County notified the Korean city in the downstream area to cooperate with the search and rescue. The current search and rescue methods are mainly river surface search and personnel search along the route.

  The above-mentioned staff claimed that the reason for this incident was that a child fell into the water, and the rescue was not successful. According to surrounding witnesses, there was a pregnant woman in the incident.
