9,738 people tested positive for coronavirus, 209 dead. This is the latest report in Pakistan where the number of infected people is highest in the province of Punjab. 4,328 people were infected there against 495 in that of Balochistan. Figures to be taken with caution given that screening is not massive in the country of nearly 220 million inhabitants.
Publicity
For several weeks the medical staff of several hospitals across the country have been sounding the alarm and denouncing precarious working conditions which are largely insufficient to deal with the virus and the lack of investment by the State.
The Dawn site , the country's first English-language daily newspaper, maintains the death toll according to official figures.
