Many lessons are learned from the Corona crisis, which later require in-depth analyzes, new policies, careful decisions, and new directions .. Multiple lessons, covering all sectors, and I think it is very necessary to rebuild all previous strategies. The virus has proven that Some of them were not going in the right direction.

It is very difficult, and it is too early now, to talk about any new changes or policies, but it is certain that the most important and most important file faced by the state, in the crisis of the spread of the Corona virus, is the file of redundant employment, numbers, existence, need for, various pressures Because of their large numbers, and the real benefit from their presence with such intensity, all of these questions, and others, were the biggest challenges that burdened the government with a heavy burden in this sensitive, difficult and complex stage!

The situation calls for a fundamental re-examination of the employment file. It is necessary to determine the quality and nature of the work that contributed to the increase in employment, especially unskilled, and it is necessary to familiarize yourself closely with the cost of the existence of these huge numbers of them on the state, direct and indirect costs, and in all respects: health And living, social, and other, against the actual need, and the real benefit from its existence, in addition to knowing the real party that benefits from this employment!

The UAE has made real and tangible efforts to preserve workers ’rights, provide them with all the necessities of life for them, and has developed many laws for their benefit. It has done its best by providing guarantees to protect their rights, in accordance with international labor standards, and even more, at the expense of the rights of companies and business owners sometimes. .

All of this happened in the normal conditions, and before the outbreak of the Coronavirus, except that under the current circumstances and in the midst of the crisis, it became clear that all the beneficiaries of the presence of the workers, whether the private sector that attracted them, or the countries from which they came, had abandoned their legal responsibilities, and put them fully on The state should not be a real burden at a difficult time, a burden borne by the state alone, does not that require a re-examination of the entire file, as soon as this crisis ends ?! We need a lot of workers to carry out a lot of huge construction work, there is no disagreement about that, but the time after "Corona" should make us restore our priorities and our strategic plans .. So are the numbers that fit the size of the works we need? This is what we want to study carefully, and how can we reduce the proportion of workers with an intense focus on technology and artificial intelligence? This is what we want to focus on in the future, in addition to the most important question, which is: Will we need to continue the quality of many of the projects before "Corona" in a time after "Corona" ?!
