Mobile clinics have been launched in Ajman to carry out infectious diseases, including the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), among the groups of workers in their residential locations.

The mobile clinics are working in an integrated manner with the field hospital, which was established on the campus of the Saudi German Hospital in Ajman, on a joint initiative between Ajman Medical District and the group of Saudi German Hospitals and "Emirates Doctors" and "Emirates Cares", to provide free treatment for cases that show symptoms of HIV infection. "The hospital has the support of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman," said the director of Ajman Medical Zone, Hamad Tarim Al Shamsi.

Al Shamsi indicated that the field hospital currently accommodates 50 beds, and includes a medical and nursing staff who volunteered to serve the community and its members.

Dr. Reem Othman, CEO of the Saudi German Hospitals Group in the Emirates, said that "mobile clinics conduct tests for the employment category, and if any case is suspected, the person is transferred to the field hospital located in the campus of the German-German Hospital in Ajman, with a capacity of 50 beds."

She explained that doctors receive cases in the field hospital for treatment for free, in cooperation with Ajman Medical District, noting that cases that suffer from chronic or dangerous diseases are transferred to the Saudi German Hospital in Ajman, and the necessary surgeries and treatments are performed for them.
