LDP Kawai Sato Secretary Secretary's First Public Trial today

The first trial of a public secretary who was charged with an election violation by the Liberal Democratic Party's Senator Kawai will be held at the Hiroshima District Court on the 20th. The secretary has a policy of admitting the content of prosecution, and if the prosecution's prison sentence is confirmed and the prosecutor's office is filed with an administrative lawsuit requiring the application of the multi-seat system, the election of Representative Sato will be void.

Hiroshi Tachimichi, a second secretary of the LDP's representative, Satoshi Kawai, was accused of violating the Public Offices Election Law, saying that he paid 14 so-called Miss Uguisu in excess of the law in the House of Councilors election last July. He was charged with the acquisition of a campaigner.

The prosecutor's office has filed a "100-day trial" in which a stand secretary is required to issue a judgment within 100 days, saying that the standing secretary falls under the subject of a multiple seat system in which the election of the legislator is invalid.

The first trial will be held in the Hiroshima District Court on the afternoon of the 20th, and according to the person concerned, the secretary of the law will approve the content of the indictment.

In the future, if a conviction is sentenced and a sentence of imprisonment or more is confirmed, the prosecutor's office plans to file an administrative lawsuit requesting the application of the conjunctive system.

In this administrative case, if the standing secretary is found to be the "organizational campaign manager" who is subject to the multi-seat system, the election of Representative Sato will be void.

Future trials will focus on how the court decides on the role of a standing secretary.
