According to Yamagata Prefecture, it was confirmed that four people living in the prefecture were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Four new infections were confirmed: women in their 40s and 70s living in Okura Village, and women in their 40s and men in their 50s living in Tsuruoka City.
Yamagata Prefecture will hold an interview at 3:30 pm to explain in detail about the condition.
With this, a total of 58 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
