The current threat of the epidemic is, of course, a test for the viability of power and the maturity of society. Our, Russian, too much tested recently (especially after 2014), but what can you do.

The same notorious sanctions, introduced in a dosed, but methodically and purposefully manner, with which they tried to weaken the country's immune functions, to launch processes of alienation and separation in it. And what in practice? A healthy society has developed protective mechanisms and is only rallying and strengthening. They tried to drive them into hopeless isolation, like plagued ones, to furnish them with a sanitary cordon so that they would be ashamed of themselves and suffer inferiority complexes. But somehow the country is not isolated, but only it becomes more and more attractive, since it has its own character and become. And the very primacy of sovereignty is now the best amulet against any political infectious defeat.

So on the political front, everything is fine with "virology", there are "vaccines" and tested. What pandemics they have never encountered: sweeping accusations, including the most incomprehensible ones; and with total Russophobia; and with the rewriting of history, where they also try to write us down to the category of universal evil ... You won’t enumerate everything.

Therefore, the threat of a coronavirus epidemic, which is striding around the world, plunging entire countries into heat and breaking, is a problem, but not a catastrophe. What about isolation, when now many states of the same Europe are convulsively closing off from each other, building antiviral curtains? .. Thanks to hysterical Russophobia and sanctions, thanks to which the country has honed its import substitution strategy. And this is an important component of the country's immunity.

And now, with the threat of an epidemic, there is no panic. Take at least the Duma agenda on this subject. This is not a chaos of thoughts and actions through which the exclamation: “Everything is lost!” Is secretly breaking, but a calm and balanced algorithm of clear and thoughtful measures in close cooperation with the government of the country. And it calms, inspires confidence. As if a special electric circuit is being built for operational decision-making at the legislative level.

Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin just said that the State Duma will legislatively ensure the work of the coordination council, headed by the prime minister for the fight against coronavirus. Socially protect the population, as well as support the affected business. This direction is now a priority. At the same time, Volodin noted that “there is no need to escalate! Panic is always bad, especially since it causes much greater damage. "

Therefore, only actions and actions, not demagogy. So, a law has already been passed that allows the government to freeze the price of medicines when there is a threat of epidemics or if there is an unjustified increase in prices for medicines and medical products by more than 30 percent within 30 days. With such freezing, the state will establish a price tag for medicines above which it will not be possible to sell them for 90 days.

This should pacify the hype, often artificial, and prevent speculative inflation of prices.

An amendment to the bill on the sale of OTC drugs over the Internet is also being amended. He will allow the free delivery of drugs by ordinary courier services without a special pharmaceutical education. The State Duma speaker notes that “the decision is especially important now that the world is facing an epidemic of coronavirus infection. It is necessary to provide people with the opportunity to buy the necessary over-the-counter drugs without unnecessary trips to the pharmacy. And also protect them from unscrupulous sellers who artificially create rush demand. ”

The same Volodin proposed the development of mechanisms to protect businesses that are suffering losses due to the threat of coronavirus. According to him, it is necessary to support investors who have invested in children's leisure, hotel and tourism business. For example, provide for a delay in the repayment of loans and introduce a kind of credit vacation. I must say that to support a number of areas of the economy that are now under attack, the government adopted a plan of measures. According to media reports, a special support fund is being created up to 300 billion rubles. So it will not be such that everyone for himself and in his isolation to the mercy of fate will remain abandoned.

Not only that: amendments to the Budget Code are promptly introduced. According to them, this year without the procedure for making changes to the budget, it will be possible to increase the reserve fund of the government in order to direct additional funds to the fight and prevention of coronavirus. Also, the Cabinet will be given the right to quickly make decisions to support certain sectors of the economy, the social sphere and to balance regional budgets, which may have difficulties due to the increased workload.

The current “viral” history has proved that the Russian government can act quickly and with a lightning reaction. However, this is not news. Such coherence and speed was demonstrated recently when taking social measures for demographic mobilization.

The extraordinary situation associated with coronavirus has become an important litmus test, on which much has manifested itself, which they might not have noticed before. Russian authorities, no matter how much they criticize them, have shown themselves to be a coherent and reliable mechanism for protecting society. She demonstrates utmost openness and honesty regarding coronavirus infection. Well, and strength, of course. Reliability.

It is also important that the current extraordinary history gives the country self-confidence, self-confidence, hence its sanity and rejection of panic chaos. She showed her self-sufficiency and that such a value as the primacy of sovereignty is the best vaccine against any viruses. It is our sovereignty that has become the main resource for confronting complex epidemics. It is necessary to hold on to it, also to each other, and not to separate.
