The corona virus does not spare the sport. Every day, events are canceled. On Tuesday, the message came that the summer football em was set.

Another event that fails is the SM Week which would have taken place between March 25 and March 11. The contests would have been broadcast by SVT. Johanna Bäckström Lerneby is the head of sports news at SVT.

- The SM Week is a huge production. There we would broadcast 67 hours of sports. But now it is set. The winter studio that was at the weekend was shortened, as there was no skiing competition, says Johanna Bäckström Lerneby.

- We must be more creative in our broadcasts. You can do more investigative journalism and longer projects. It is a very different situation for us. But at the same time, there are opportunities for something else.

SVT Sport will also start broadcasting a new program called Helgstudion. In it you will have studio conversations, reports and interviews about what is happening in Sweden during the corona crisis.

"It is very news intensive"

Markus Boger is the head of Radio Sports. He believes that it will be very purely news journalism instead of minutes now.

- We are most profiled with match and competition reports. Obviously, it will sound very different than normal. Now it is very news-intensive and we have been expecting big news, says Markus Boger and continues:

- There will be a lot of news journalism. But we will also report on how corona decisions affect clubs, associations and unions purely financially.

Tips for each other on what to do instead

Out of the sports drought, a nostalgic guitar has also grown. The three managers tell everyone that viewers, readers and listeners have heard of tips on what to report instead. Many people, for example, want to post old match reports and chronicles. The sports magazine has had several chats where you could tell each other what to do instead.

- We have a continuous dialogue. Many people think this is difficult and difficult. And need guidance on what to do instead, says Patric Hamsch at Sportbladet.
