  • A truck immobilized by stationary cars, men trying to get on board and aim for the driver's door, before the vehicle suddenly gets out ...
  • This is the scene visible in a viral video on social networks since this morning, suggesting that a person was crushed on this occasion and that the attackers of the truck were trying to steal food from him in full confinement.
  • But according to the Dutch company in charge of this refrigerated truck, the scene dates back to Sunday and has no connection with the coronavirus. The video was also already visible yesterday, that is to say before the confinement began.

" Oh fuck !! I tell you that the corona makes people crazy putaiiin !! "," First "vicissitudes" of total containment: scoundrels rob a truck containing food on the ring road, then, according to witnesses, kill its driver in l 'crushing. Civil war scenes to fear ”…

On Twitter, a video of just over a minute shared by different Internet users has accumulated many views for the past few hours. And for good reason: it shows a truck immobilized in the middle of several stopped cars, on a multi-lane road, while a group of at least four people repeatedly throws an object on the driver's window.

And while one of them clings to the passenger door and seems ready to get into the truck, the latter starts and climbs out of the blocked area, while one of the other men begins to strike the driver's window. The person filming from a distance exclaims: "He's crushed! He is dead ! On the Torah, he died! Before finally getting out of his car and returning to the scene of the incident. But the video stops at this point, without any body being visible on the ground.

FAKE OFF

As you can clearly see on the video, the truck is part of the Voesenek transport company of frozen products, located in the Netherlands but also operating in France. Contacted by 20 Minutes , the Dutch company had not responded to our requests before the article appeared.

But she has already spoken about this incident, explaining in the columns of "Breda Vandaag", the local media of this town in the south of the Netherlands, to be "aware of the situation" and confirming that the scene took place in France.

"A" normal "traffic feud"

“It happened last Sunday. We would like to immediately refute rumors that it was a coronavirus-related theft. We don't have all the details yet, as the driver is still on his way to Breda. But we do know that the rear of the truck was not affected. It was certainly not theft. It seems that it was a "normal" traffic dispute, "the company continued, deploring this" very annoying situation ".

If the video circulates enormously since this morning, it had already been put on line yesterday evening at 19 h 59 by the Facebook page "Les banlieusard". Just before Emmanuel Macron's speech and therefore long hours before the confinement of France, effective since this noon only.

Contacted by 20 Minutes , the Facebook page did not respond to our requests before the article was published. But the caption accompanying the video made no mention of a link with the coronavirus since it simply indicated that this scene had been filmed "on the [device] today".
