The internet platform jeparticipe.bordeaux.fr already lists the service offers from 250 Bordeaux residents who have been noticed in recent hours (Covid 19 self-help section).
Childcare, shopping for residents unable to move, links with isolated people ... small and large services, for an hour or a day, everyone has their own proposal. To volunteer, just register in a few clicks.
Public services are adapting
In addition, the district town halls provide certificates of derogatory travel (subject to availability). The public service is provided but adapted:
- Tram and bus traffic is ensured. A traffic plan review is underway.
- Waste is collected almost normally.
- Municipal civil status services now only issue essential documents, births and deaths.
- The accreditation of childminders goes from three to six children.
