According to the official Weibo news of the Shanghai Health and Medical Commission, from March 0 2020 to March 12th, 3 cases of suspected new cases of coronavirus pneumonia were ruled out in Shanghai. It is an overseas imported case discovered through the joint prevention and control mechanism.
Case 1 is a native of Hunan, China, studying and living in France, departing from Paris, France on March 11, transiting through Taipei, and arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 12th. After entering the country, he was collected and observed in isolation. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test results, and imaging studies were diagnosed as confirmed cases.
Case 2 was from Zhejiang Province, China, studying and living in Spain. He set off from Madrid, Spain on March 11th, transited through Moscow, Russia, and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 12th. After entering the country, he was collected and observed in isolation. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test results, and imaging studies were diagnosed as confirmed cases.
As of 12:00 on March 14, a total of 352 confirmed cases had been found in Shanghai. Of the confirmed cases, 184 were male and 168 were female; the oldest was 88 years old and the youngest was 7 months old; 145 had a history of living or traveling in Hubei, 34 had a history of living or traveling outside Hubei, and 159 had a history of contact with related cases. 4 had a history of living in Iran, 7 had a history of living in Italy, 1 had a history of living in the United States, 1 had a history of living in France, and 1 had a history of living in Spain; 111 were from overseas, and 14 were from overseas. There were 227 permanent residents.
Of the confirmed cases, there are currently 25 cases being treated in the hospital, of which 16 cases are stable, 8 cases are critically ill, 1 case is critically ill, 324 patients are cured and discharged, and 3 died. There are still 25 suspected cases under investigation, of which 10 are overseas imported suspected cases discovered through the joint prevention and control mechanism.
