Distribute masks to residents of four towns in Hokkaido on and after 12 March 23:06 on March 10

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to give priority to distribution of approximately 40 masks per household to residents of four towns in Hokkaido, where the spread of the new coronavirus has spread.

Newly distributed are four towns in total: Setana, Biei, Kikonai, and Shiriuchi in Hokkaido. Approximately 40 masks per household will be distributed with priority.
It will be distributed in about 5 days after the 12th.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, distribution has been decided as an area where the proportion of new coronavirus patients in the population is large.

Distribution of masks has already begun in Nakafurano-cho and Kitami-city in Hokkaido, and about 30 additional masks per household will be distributed after the 12th.
