Ringards, Gérard Lanvin and Olivier Marchal? Guests of Isabelle Morizet, Sunday on Europe 1, the two accomplices evoked the imminent release of a comedy, Papi-sitter , and a detective film Bronx . The opportunity to discuss the difficult funding of the latter, and their irritation with certain cogs in the cinema industry.

"I have no co-funded television channel," says Olivier Marchal. "We are not loved, Gérard and I. We are a kind of 'bad guy', guys who do not have the legitimacy to be still, at our ages, in the profession." The director and actor, visibly reassembled, for example denounced the attitude of the cinema manager of the channel France 2, a person "obnoxious, hateful and embittered", in his words, and who would have treated them "like shit".
Public support
The two men regret passing for "old idiots" with the promoters of French cinema even though they still benefit from public support. "When the Lyonnais passes on France 2, it hits the target. The purple rivers, it hits the target. 36 quai des silversmiths , still today, 15 years later, that scores hell [...] We have the public, this is the greatest reward for us. "
