Publicity

He is a fabulous character who has become a legend in France and around the world. A great lady of theater and tragedy, whose incredible aura has extended to us for over a century. The golden voice, the divine, the empress of the theater, the greatest hailed the talent of the one who can be considered as the first international star, since she has triumphed on five continents. It was also for her that Jean Cocteau coined the expression "sacred monster". Insubmissive, whimsical, adventurous, whimsical, inspiring, excessive, feminist, flamboyant, excessive, free, stubborn, indomitable, ambitious, impulsive, generous, selfish, proud, whole, courageous ... Impossible to quote all the qualifiers that come to mind when we delve into the life of Sarah Bernhardt, as told by Marie Avril and Eddy Simon in a superb comic book album: " Divine, life (s) of Sarah Bernhardt ", published by Futuropolis.
