On March 3, the "Marlin" (English ship name: BLACK MARLIN) loaded the base of a new deep-sea semi-submersible drilling platform with a width of 120.48 meters and a value of about 410 million yuan produced by Jiangsu Nantong Jibao Shipyard. Under the supervision and maintenance of the Bureau and the cooperation of the pilots of the Yangtze River Pilotage Center, the river was safely led to Singapore.
Due to the large volume and large tonnage of the marine module loaded, after the ship is loaded, the part protruding from the hull is multiple faces, which is easy to be affected by the wind and cause the position to drift. In addition, when the marine module is loaded on the ship, it is not only used when sailing in the Yangtze River waters. Not being able to overtake other ships, and being unable to be overtaken, leading to more difficult piloting operations.
It is understood that the product was originally planned to be carried out on February 8, but affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, related operations were put on hold. Until the early morning of March 3, "Marin" set sail.
