The gel boxes will be sold for 2 euros for 50 ml, 3 euros for 100 ml, and 5 euros for 300 ml. And once the text has been validated by the Council of State, pharmacies and websites will no longer have the right to sell them more expensive to consumers.

A fine of 7,500 euros

A ceiling price was also set for manufacturers, as the crackdown on fraud found that many out-of-stock pharmacies had tried to restock and that manufacturers' prices had exploded. The government therefore hopes that these new rules will facilitate the resupply of pharmacies.

In the event of fraud, the fine will be 7,500 euros per product sold, and may be doubled in the event of a repeat offense.
