[Explanation] Since the first confirmed case of New Coronary Pneumonia appeared in Shanghai for more than a month, Yang Fan and colleagues of the Department of Infection Management of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University have been working hard on epidemic prevention. [Explanation] At present, there are more than 2,000 medical staff in China who are unfortunately diagnosed with new crown pneumonia. In Yang Fan's opinion, the normal state of most hospitals, such as diagnosis and treatment processes, flow management, and building layout, are not prepared for a highly contagious respiratory disease. In a short period of time, the transition from normal to epidemic prevention is a huge and complex system project, and hospitals need to quickly change strategies and roles from top to bottom.

Because this time the disease is very contagious and concealed. Waiting to go to train our security staff, our outpatient staff, emergency staff, how to convince patients' families not to enter the hospital, each patient must be screened before entering the medical area.
[Explanation] Emergency department is the forefront of risk prevention and control. Hospitals that have entered the "wartime state" set up special fever pre-tests in emergency departments, measure body temperature and epidemiological screening for all outpatient and emergency patients, and strictly follow the process for differential diagnosis. . Professor Chen Mingquan, director of the emergency department of Huashan Hospital, told reporters that because of the very good protection system and identification system, Huashan Hospital has pre-checked 4,000 patients since January 20 and confirmed 10 new patients with new pneumonia.
