Bong Joon-ho's 'parasite' wrote not only 101 Korean film history but also 92 years of Oscar history.

The Parasite lifted a total of four trophies in Hollywood, the home of the world film industry, including the award-winning film, overcoming subtitle barriers and Oscar's long tradition.

The Parasite won four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on May 9, including the Director's Prize, Screenplay and International Film.

The Korean film has continued to challenge the Academy Awards with the introduction of Director Shin Sang-ok's 'Love Room Guest and Mother' in 1962, but this is the first time that he has been nominated or has won an award.

In particular, 'Parasite' was the first foreign film to win a work award, setting a new milestone for Oscar films.

In addition, the Golden Palm Award winner at the Cannes Film Festival won the Academy Award at the same time, 64 years after the romantic comedy 'Marty' (1955 Golden Palm Award, 1956 Academy Awards) in 1995.

The Parasite is led by Sam Mandes, the most powerful competitor, in 1917, with Irishman (Martin Scosey), Jojo Rabbit (Taika Waititi), Joker (Todd Phillips) Greta Goose, Marriage Story, Noah Baumback, Once Upon A Time It was named the winner of the work, beating out the most competitive competitors such as 'Hollywood in' (Quentin Tarantino).

Producer Kwak Shin-ae, CEO of Barunson Kwak Shin-ae, said, “I can't say anything. I'm so happy that something I've never imagined. Thank you for your decision and thank you. "

On the stage, CJ Group Vice Chairman Lee Mi-kyung also came up.

CJ's subsidiary, CJ ENM, was in charge of investing in 'parasites'.

"I like everything about Bong. He likes his head, the way he speaks and walks, especially the way he plays and his sense of humor. And he teases himself, but he never gets serious."

Mr. Lee also thanked the parasite producers, his brother Lee Jae-hyun, CJ Chairman, and the Korean audience.

Bong Joon-ho was the shining star of the Oscars today.

He has been on stage three times as a director, screenwriter and international film award winner.

The Asian director won the director's award for the second time after Taiwanese director Lian.

Ryan won two awards for the Hollywood film Brokeback Mountain (2006) and Life of Pie (2013).

'Parasite' is more meaningful in that it is a pure Korean film in Korean.

It is the first time that an Asian artist has received a screenplay award.

Bong is the director's honor to overtake other leading directors, including Martin Scosey (Irish Man), Todd Phillips (Joker), Sam Mendes ('1917') and Quentin Tarantino ('One Once Upon A Time… Hollywood'). I embraced it.

Bong went to the third stage as a director's award winner and showed respect to great masters such as Martin Scosey and Quentin Tarantino. I pulled out a laugh.

When he received the script award with Han Jin-won, he said, "Scenario is actually a lonely and lonely work. It is not representative of the country.

Parasites were nominated for art and editorial awards, but failed to win.

The short documentary 'Memories of Absence', which dealt with the Sewol disaster, was also not named a winner.

Director Lee Seung-joon attracted attention at the award ceremony, accompanied by Sewol Lake's surviving member, Jang Jun-hyung's mother Oh Hyun-joo and Kim Gun-woo's mother Kim Mina.
